Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to own our virtualization infrastructure, networking stack, and operating system configurations. A critical aspect of this role involves device fingerprinting—configuring virtual Windows desktops and Android phones to appear as legitimate physical devices. You will work with hypervisor APIs, VPN/SOCKS5 providers, and low-level OS customization to ensure our virtual environments fly under the radar.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and scale virtualization infrastructure using VergeOS hypervisor APIs for VM provisioning and lifecycle management
Implement and maintain device fingerprinting strategies for Windows and Android VMs to achieve realistic device signatures
Configure and customize Android x86 images including system properties, build fingerprints, and hardware identifiers
Manage Windows desktop images with OS-level tuning to reduce detection and attribution risks
Own network operations including SOCKS5/VPN provider management, failover automation, and detection resistance testing
Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines for automated device provisioning
Implement observability using Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB; own capacity planning and performance monitoring
Perform OS and platform patching, production system monitoring, and incident response
Research and evaluate new VPN and SMS providers for reliability and detection resistance

Requirements

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or systems administration
Strong Linux systems expertise including kernel configuration and low-level OS customization
Experience with Windows Server/Desktop administration and PowerShell scripting
Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with Terraform and Ansible
Solid understanding of networking including VPNs, proxies, SOCKS5, and OpenVPN
Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms and hypervisor APIs
Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Android x86 internals, system properties, and device spoofing techniques
Knowledge of browser and device fingerprinting detection methods and evasion
Background in anti-fraud systems, bot detection, or attribution management
Experience with Apache Guacamole
Familiarity with Istio service mesh and VergeOS
