Role Overview

We are seeking a Web & Application Developer to join the team and contribute to both web/application development and a long-term transition into AI development.

This is a dual-role position where you will initially focus on building and maintaining applications using Node.js, Python, and WordPress, while progressively evolving into an AI Development role, working on AI agents and custom large language models (LLMs).

This position is ideal for developers interested in growing into AI while maintaining strong hands-on coding responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Web & Application Development (Primary – Initial Phase)

• Develop and maintain applications using Node.js, Python, and scripting languages.
• Build and support WordPress sites (themes, plugins, integrations).
• Collaborate with development teams on web applications and internal tools.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design.

AI Development Track (Progressive Transition)

• Support development and fine-tuning of large language models (LLMs).
• Contribute to building AI agents for internal and client-facing solutions.
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate models into applications.
• Stay updated on AI/ML tools, frameworks, and best practices.

AI Platform Development

• Develop features for a proprietary AI platform using Cursor.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and delivery cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in web or application development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python.
• Experience with WordPress development (themes, plugins, administration).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Git, and modern development workflows.
• Experience or willingness to work with Cursor or similar AI-assisted tools.
• Ability to write production-grade code independently (not relying on AI tools).
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in AI/ML, NLP, or LLMs.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience building AI agents or chatbot solutions.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and model training pipelines.
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience in startup or fast-paced environments.
