Motion System Designer / Creative Technologist
Job Description:
Motion System Designer / Creative Technologist
About the Company
The Company is developing a patent-pending conversational website platform. Instead of clicking through menus, visitors interact directly with the website, and the platform responds by dynamically building the user experience around what they want in real time. The core engine is functional, the team is actively shipping, and we are now scaling the visual and motion experience to make every user interaction unforgettable.
Role Overview
Imagine playing back every screen a website generates during a single visitor's conversation start-to-finish. On our platform, that playback should feel like a finished commercial: scenes, transitions, video, animation, and information, all composed on the fly and feeling expertly directed.
Nobody scripts that commercial—our AI assembles it live. Your job is to design the system it assembles from: the scenes, transitions, pacing, and rules that make a thousand different conversations each feel like polished, cinematic experiences. Sitting between our brand and engineering teams, your primary stakeholders will be frontend developers. Beautiful concepts are your starting point, but production-ready technical specifications are your core deliverable.
Key Details
- Role Type: Motion System Designer / Creative Technologist
- Location: Remote in Argentina
- Experience Level: Senior (5+ years)
- Languages: English (Required)
What You'll Build First
- Scene Library: Define a standardized set of scene types (hero reveals, product moments, stat punches, testimonials, comparisons, CTAs) with layout, motion, and asset slots specified for each.
- Transition Vocabulary: Establish which transitions exist and when each is used (e.g., topic shifts vs. deep dives).
- Pacing & Sequencing Rules: Build the editorial logic the AI follows so every conversation builds with rhythm, variety, and escalation toward conversion.
- Motion Tokens: Systematize durations, easing curves, and stagger values in the same way modern design systems handle color and typography.
- Buildable Prototypes: Deliver Rive, Lottie, or interactive prototypes that engineers can implement directly, along with animatics showing real conversation flows.
Ongoing Responsibilities
- Partner daily with frontend engineers to review implementations and refine motion so it feels right in the browser, not just in a pre-render.
- Extend the design system as new industry verticals, customer types, and scene needs emerge.
- Collaborate with video and brand teams to ensure generated media seamlessly fits the motion framework.
- Continuously push the platform’s creative ceiling to discover more cinematic ways to present conversational content.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Experience: 5+ years in motion design, broadcast design, interactive design, or creative technology.
- Portfolio: Demonstrable proof of systems thinking (design systems, dynamic templates, or interactive frameworks), not just standalone reel shots.
- Tooling: Strong command of After Effects or Cinema 4D, plus expertise in at least one real-time/interactive motion tool (Rive, Lottie, Unreal Engine, Framer, etc.).
- Technical Fluency: Ability to collaborate seamlessly with frontend engineers regarding buildability, web performance, and code maintainability.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written English communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Hands-on experience with code-driven motion libraries: GSAP, Framer Motion, Three.js, WebGL, or Remotion.
- Background in broadcast graphics platforms (Vizrt, Chyron, Ross XPression, Singular.live).
- Experience designing motion systems for game UI, non-linear narratives, broadcast graphics packages, or AI-generated/data-driven content.
- Professional fluency in Spanish.
