Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer, with some experience using Playwright. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on ensuring product quality through strong manual testing practices while contributing to test automation initiatives.
This role is primarily manual testing (80%), with 20% focused on automation.
Key Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end manual testing, identify defects, and report findings clearly and accurately.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to define test strategies and ensure coverage of business requirements.

Participate in sprint planning, provide QA estimates, and ensure test cases align with acceptance criteria.

Contribute to automated testing using Playwright and support integration into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Help triage and reproduce reported issues, providing clear documentation of bugs and test results.

Promote and apply QA best practices within Agile development teams.
Required Qualifications

4-5 years of experience in Manual QA.

At least 2+ year of hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software testing principles, and defect management.

Ability to write and maintain test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages.

Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g. ClickUp, Jira) and version control systems such as GitLab.

Familiarity with CI environments, particularly GitLab CI, and integrating automated tests into pipelines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have

Exposure to API testing, performance testing, or security validation.

Experience with test management tools and cloud-based device testing services.

Knowledge of AWS.

Experience tracking tasks in ClickUp.

iOS and Android mobile automation experience is a strong plus.
