Data Engineer SR

* Recent experience: Hands-on experience developing data processing software, operationalizing data storage infrastructure, and implementing data migration strategies. Experience interacting with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into architectures while managing expectations at executive and technical levels.

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* Seniority: 3+ years of experience developing data processing algorithms, with 2+ years specifically working across cloud platforms and customer-facing projects.

* Cloud: GCP

* Must-Haves: Google ADK, Python, SQL, and PySpark. Data platform, lake, and warehouse architecture (BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Dataplex, Composer), along with modern analytical engines (Databricks, Snowflake). Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle). Streaming and batch processing (e.g., Kafka, PubSubs). Familiarity with NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, Redis, Bigtable) and BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, QlikView).

* Nice-to-Haves: Scala, Apache Beam, and Hadoop. IaC and CI/CD/DevOps tools (Terraform, Git actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins). Infrastructure components (Linux/Bash, VMs, GKE, Kubernetes). AI / ML, LLMs, GenAI, or ML Ops.

* Languages: Fluent English / Nice to have: Portuguese
